Medical Waste Driver / Document Shredding Technician

Location: East Syracuse, NY

Our medical waste tech drivers are responsible for the handling regulated medical waste from doctors' offices, hospitals, dentists' offices, funeral homes, etc. The driver is responsible for performing assigned duties during the collection and transport of the medical waste. This physically active position involves mounting and dismounting a route vehicle and loading and unloading product numerous times each day using a hand truck. A certain satisfaction can occur for medical waste workers who appreciate protecting the environment and working directly with the public.

Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (Post Offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check.
